Fire at London’s Grenfell Tower:

A fire that engulfed London’s Grenfell Tower has claimed the lives of twelve people, with many still unaccounted.

The fire was reported in Kensington at 00:54 BST, and subsequently engulfed numerous floors in the 24-storey building. The fire is belived to have been started on the fourth floor, but it is currently unknown what caused it.

Foo Fighters to headline Glastonbury 2017:

The Foo Fighters have been confirmed as headliners at Glastonbury.

The band will headline Saturday at the event, and will perform on the pyramid stage in what is their first appearance at the event since 1998 on Saturday.

The Foo Fighters announced this news in a surprise, secret concert in Frome, Somerset.

Sun journalists banned from Liverpool FC grounds.

The Sun newspaper, who infamously reported on the Hillsborough disaster and blamed the fans – rather than police – have been banned from Liverpool FC grounds after a capaign against the newspaper from a group named ‘The Total Eclipse Of The S*n’, who, after talking to Liverpool FC directors, posted this message on their Twitter page:

Roger Federer wins the Australian Open!

Roger Federer has triumphed over Rafael Nadal in an epic five set match: 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3! The 35 year old has defied the odds to overcome his Spanish rival and came back to defeat Nadal in the final seet with a deficit of 1-3 down. This is Federer’s 18th Grand Slam, and his fifth Australian Open title, which will propel Federer back into the top 10 in the rankings.

Star Wars Episode VIII Title Revealed:

Fans have been waiting ever since Episode VII – The Force Awakens – came out to see what the next film had instore. Rogue One delayed next film in the newest trilogy, and was met with critical acclaim which called the film – set between the events of A New Hope – a successful spin-off for the franchise.
