A terror attack has wounded 48 people, and has killed 7 in a barbaric attack on London.

In what was the third terror attack in Britian in less than three months, eyewitness accounts told of how a white van drove through pedestrians on London Bridge, with two eyewitnesses saying that they saw the three attackers stabbing people, whilst shouting: “This is for Allah.”

The attack began at 10:08pm, and lasted until 10:16pm, when the three assailants were shot by Police. Paramedics were quick to the scene, makling their appearance within 6 minutes of receiving the call. Canisters on the body of one suspect – which seemed reveal a potential suicide bomber – were revealed by Police “to be hoaxes.”

There will be an emergency COBRA meeting which Theresa May will be attending, along with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. National General Election campaigning for the Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats, SNP and the Green Party have been halted as a result of this attack. UKIP is the only party to continue campaigning, with Paul Nuttal – leader of UKIP – stating that “disrupting our democracy is what the extremists want.”

There will be a huge police prescence in London, with the SAS also present. There will also be increased security in Manchester, due to the two large events that are taking place; Ariana Grande’s One Manchester concert at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground, and Michael Carrick’s testimonial which will be taking place at the Old Trafford football ground.

Additional bag checks will be made at both events to ensure security.
