U.S. President Trump announces decision to withdraw from Paris Climate Agreement in the White House Rose Garden in Washington

Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, has announced that the United States with withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.

The President of the United States has annouinced that “We’re getting out.”, saying that the United States deserved a more favourable deal, after announcing that the US has lost $3tn in GDP and around 6.5 million jobs because of the deal.

This comes as no surprise, as Donald Trump was a skeptic on climate change from the start, and made withdrawing from 2015’s Paris Climate Agreement which his predecessor – President Barack Obama – signed.

There has been public outcraw over the news, with the aforementioned former President – Barack Obama – along with other celebrities criticising the move which could see sufficient harm to the environment.
